These terms cover your use of this website, ja-lee.com, which is run by Ja-Lee (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them; if you don’t agree, please don’t use it. Our customer portal at portal.ja-lee.com, and the Ja-Lee Mapper app, have their own terms, and our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
The site
The site tells you about Ja-Lee and gives you a way to contact us. What it says is general information. It may change at any time, and it isn’t an offer to provide any service. Any work we do for you is covered by a separate agreement with us.
Using the site
Please use the site lawfully and fairly. In particular, don’t:
- use it for anything illegal, harmful or fraudulent;
- try to break into it, test its security, overload it or interfere with how it works;
- send spam, or automated or bulk messages, through the contact form;
- copy large parts of the site with automated tools; or
- pretend to be someone else.
Messages you send us
You’re responsible for what you send through the contact form. Please don’t include passwords, payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive details; we’ll never ask for them that way. We use what you send to reply to you and to improve our services, as our Privacy Policy describes.
Our name and content
The Ja-Lee name and logo, the site’s design and text, and its 3D artwork belong to us. You’re welcome to view and share links to the site, but please don’t copy, change or reuse its content or branding without our written permission.
Links to other sites
The site links to our customer portal and may link to other websites. Other sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we’re not responsible for their content or practices.
Disclaimer
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it’s provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises or warranties about it, express or implied, including that it will always be available, error-free or free of harmful components.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Ja-Lee won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, and our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to US$100. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about them or the site will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Westchester County, New York, and you and we agree to those courts’ jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll post the new version here and change the date at the top. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
